Server Log Files
The page provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of server request
- IP address
This data is not combined with other data sources. We delete the server log files after 14 days.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of their website, and the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Web Analytics with Umami
This website counts visits with Umami, an open-source web analytics tool that we run ourselves (sitestats.padelscout.io). Umami sets no cookies and builds no personal profile. It records the page visited without parameters, the referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and the approximate location derived from the IP address (country, region, city). Umami does not store the IP address itself. We do not pass this data on.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization purposes (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Geolocation
This website offers the possibility to determine your location to show padel courts near you. Location determination is only carried out with your express consent via the location release of your browser.
Location data is not stored on our servers and is used exclusively for searching for nearby padel courts. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).
Contact Form
If you send us an inquiry through the contact form, we store your details from the form (name, email address, subject, message) together with the language of the page and the time of receipt in our database, to process the inquiry and answer follow-up questions. We do not store an IP address with the inquiry.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
We delete the inquiry 12 months after we receive it, or earlier if you ask us to.
Email delivery
We learn of a new inquiry from an email that the email service Brevo of Sendinblue SAS, 9-17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France, delivers to us. This notice names only the subject you chose, not your name, email address or message. Brevo processes technical delivery data such as the time and the delivery status. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Brevo under Art. 28 GDPR. Brevo stores the data in data centres in France and Belgium but also uses sub-processors in the USA (such as Cloudflare for delivery). This is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Our replies to contact-form enquiries go out through the SMTP2GO service of Sand Dune Mail Ltd, Christchurch, New Zealand, from servers in the EU and without tracking opens or clicks; we have a data processing agreement with SMTP2GO under Art. 28 GDPR as well, and New Zealand has an EU adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). The legal basis is the same as for the contact form.
Maps
The maps on this website load their map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation's servers (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). The OpenStreetMap Foundation receives your IP address and the map area shown. It delivers the tiles through the content delivery network of Fastly, Inc. (USA), which also receives your IP address. The European Commission has found that the United Kingdom ensures an adequate level of data protection.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing the locations clearly (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Cookies
This website sets a single cookie: NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language and country of your visit for up to one year. Its only purpose is to show the website in your language (§ 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG); the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
